We started decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving because of the business of our big family. We find that it's easier to celebrate Ty and Halee's birthdays when the decorating is behind us. So for family home evening the kids all helped sort the tree limbs, hand Dad the lights, and hang the ornaments. We kept Tali occupied with a sucker. We love putting the Christmas music on to start the excitment of such a special time of year.
